To kiss or not to kiss – that is the question!

One of New Year celebrations main traditions, along with popping a bottle of champagne and greeting your loved one, is of course - the famous midnight kiss. The kiss that closes the past year and open the new one is a festive costume, let us celebrate it by finding what this kiss means around the world:

Now when we know more about kisses around the world, let us learn about the international and global code for kissing that fit everyone, anywhere:

How is social kissing done right?

The rule is simple and when follows, it will always ensure you avoid any awkward touching or unwanted lip synching. So what do you do? Always lean your right cheek on the other person right cheek and then move to the left cheek and lean it on the person left. To perfect your move, remember no skin to lips touching is needed on your side – kissing in the air will do the charm. Starting from right and moving the left will always save you weird interactions between your lips or nose of the person in front of you. This code is based on a lengthy, fascinating research conducted by Professor Guntorkong of the German Bochum University, who after long observations, discovered that almost all people start kissing from the right and finish in the left.

However you choose to kiss the night away, don’t forget a kiss is a sign for joy, love and happiness – things I hope this New Year will bring upon you! Happy New Year! Muaa!
