Tip to make Valetine Day a love filled event

We all know Valentine day is the day for heart-shaped balloons and expensive gift showering but do anyone know Why February 14th became the day to celebrate your better half? Many scholars and authors tried to find a definite explanation to the holiday origin throughout the years, but there is no definite answer. The date marks the beginning of bird mating season so many believe that’s the original cause, but no official source can tell us that’s why we flock to the flower shops to get our valentine a special gift.

Truth to be told, Marketing has much to do with valentine day. Scholars refer to it as “Hallmark Holiday. A hallmark holiday is a way to say it’s a “made up” holiday, it is believed that Hallmark, the well-known American greeting card company, is the brand that started valentine day, with a goal in mind to sell more greeting cards and flowers. In United States, valentine is not alone – there is also sweetest day, a holiday dedicated to showering gifts on the male counterpart in the relationship (compared to Valentine day, that is a holiday unofficially dedicated to the ladies). In our political correct world, everyone can use his own interruption to the traditional roles.
